Pavel Buchnevich have scored a hat trick on his 26th birthday, and the New York Rangers defeated the brand new Jersey Devils for the third time this week, 6-3 at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Buchnevich is the first Rangers participant to score a hat technique on his birthday. It was his 1st NHL hat trick. The Rangers called timeout after Sharangovich’s goal. The Devils couldn’t score on a power play that started at 14:05. Buchnevich completed his hat trick with an empty-net objective at 18:39 to create it 5-3. Chris Kreider also scored an empty-net goal at 19:38 for the 6-3 final.
